Iatriko Kastorias participates in the “Prolamvano” Preventive Health Program for Kidney Disease Screening.
As part of the national “Prolamvano” initiative for the prevention and early detection of kidney disease, individuals with a history of arterial hypertension and/or diabetes mellitus are eligible for additional laboratory tests to assess kidney function.
The screening includes the following tests:
Referral forms are issued automatically through the national electronic prescribing system, and no additional action is required by the patient.
Important: For the urine tests, patients are required to provide a first morning urine sample.
